Position Objectives and Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage expired raw material evaluations and recertifications.
  • Maintain technical documentation, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and support resources.
  • Process escalated technical issues and ensured timely and effective resolution.
  • Engage with customers to understand their product needs, gather feedback, and provide solutions.
  • Formulate and qualify alternative raw materials for existing products.
  • Assist development chemist with technical knowledge and customer information for innovation and method development.
  • Demonstrates awareness and competency relevant to both the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS), including but not limited to policies, objectives, and compliance obligations related to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) system.


Position Specific Skills Required

Must be able to perform odor and visual color tests.

Able to operate cleaning equipment for product testing (e.g., floor stripper, automatic scrubber, etc.)

Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

  • 10-25% travel may be required for customer support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a closely related field is mandatory. Beyond formal academic credentials, obtained certifications in industry-specific courses is a plus.


Qualifications

  • Strong background in chemistry, formulation, and technical support, with experience in quality and production processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of software tools and applications relevant to technical support and production.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Three to five years of experience.
