Responsibilities:

• Formulates performance through analytics, processes and tools; maximizing new client engagement; and working with the leadership teams at all the manufacturing locations.

• Assures project timing and tracking is up to date and lead the process changes to enhance the system approach within the facility.

• Develops manufacturing processes and best practices that are structured, well managed, prioritized, documented, transparent and customer focused.

• Structures and develops manufacturing engineering resources into focused, but collaborative groups including design engineering.

• Identifies opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication.

• Determines root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.



Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Mechanical.

• 5 - 8 years of work experience; manufacturing test engineering; knowledge of gear motors, electric motors and drives a plus.

• Experience with automated functional test equipment and/or flying probe test equipment.

• Solid computer skills include MS Office, engineering design software such as Solidworks, Labview, etc.



Physical Demands:

• Mostly production floor based and requires considerable time standing and walking on the production floor.

• Required to operate a computer, other office devices, as well as some machinery on the production floor.

• Occasionally may have to lift and/or transport items weighing up to 40 pounds.



Work Environment:

• Spends equal time the office, the production floor and development lab.

• While on the production floor or development lab, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be

required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as safety glasses.

• Some travel required.
