Job Summary

The Flight Attendant II is knowledgeable in commercial aviation practices and will support the Q400 slope shuttle flights.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure passenger safety and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Manage passengers and crewmembers during abnormal/emergency situations and/or medical emergencies during flight.
  • Participate in preflight briefings.
  • Ensure safety equipment on aircraft is in working order.
  • Preparation for passenger service.
  • Brief passengers as per FAR 125.327.
  • Serve food and beverages, including alcohol.
  • Attend training as prescribed.
  • Remain with aircraft during post-flight period.
  • Assist in normal securing of the aircraft
  • Effectively communicate with crew members and passengers.


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recent commercial aviation experience
  • Must be capable of lifting, moving moderately heavy items, up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work all days of the week, including holidays and weekends to meet specific flight schedules per established work guidelines.
  • Must live within a 90-minute drive time of the Aviation Hangar.
