The Business Development Executive will spearhead new business sales initiatives, collaborating closely with department members and leadership to achieve set sales objectives.


They'll analyze market dynamics to pinpoint demand for products and services while assessing the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies.


Through energetic and professional engagement, they'll nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, leveraging various marketing channels to foster business growth.


Key responsibilities include proactive generation and negotiation of new business, consistent achievement of sales quotas, and strategic management of the sales pipeline. Additionally, they'll craft compelling customer presentations, establish referral networks, and actively participate in industry events. With a focus on continuous improvement, the Business Development Executive will optimize marketing processes and drive conversion through data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with values and objectives.


In this role you will specifically:


  • Proactively generate, identify, qualify, and negotiate new business primarily within healthcare providers.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas consistently.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close technical solution sales.
  • Manage CRM tool and pipeline effectively.
  • Maintain a designated number of weekly appointments throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop customer presentations and participate in meetings.
  • Create clear, action-oriented account plans to develop prospects.
  • Establish a referral network for potential customers.
  • Attend industry network functions and identify membership opportunities.
  • Gather and analyze market information for new opportunities and campaign effectiveness.
  • Generate material to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Engage clients through various marketing efforts positively.
  • Strategize and execute social media plans.
  • Conduct pricing research and negotiate contracts for services.
  • Communicate production information and progress to leadership.
  • Collaborate in promotional activities and trade shows.
  • Stay updated on market trends and recommend new products/services.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of ACT products and sales methodology.
  • Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to refine marketing strategies.


To be considered:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ solution selling experience in the technology industry.
  • Experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space preferred.
  • Adheres to a methodical sales process encompassing evaluation plans, email/phone cadence, and networking strategies.
  • Skilled in utilizing CRM systems, contact databases, and social media platforms.
  • Effectively leverages internal and external resources, including technical support, partnerships, and industry affiliations.
  • Proven track record of successful sales achievements.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines.
