Qualifications

  • Interest in social media and particularly the beauty industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Video editing skills and Adobe suite skills highly preferred
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing and communications, or a similar field
  • Creative thinking and eye for engaging content
  • Aware of the latest trends within the beauty, luxury, and pop-culture landscapes

  • Note this role reports to our head of integrated marketing and social media marketing coordinator.


Responsibilities

  • Edit videos and other imagery and content.
  • Understand the brand personality and voice of the company and translate that onto the TikTok and Meta platforms
  • Find trending sounds and videos that can be implemented into digital platforms
  • Create content as needed for certain content assignments.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in social media and content marketing
  • Be willing to adapt to changes in social media algorithms, trends, and platform features.
  • Assist in editing, filming, or production of TikTok content as needed
  • Pitch ideas and assist the Digital Marketing Coordinator in developing new social media campaigns and strategies to reach our audience
  • Assist in the execution of social media advertising campaigns, if applicable.
  • Conduct research to understand the company's target audience and their preferences.
  • Use audience insights to tailor content and campaigns effectively.


Compensation

$18/hour, up to 30 hours a week

Schedules can be coordinated with our Sr. Manager of Influencer and Partnerships and will require in-office hours in our Stamford, CT office.
