SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Install Manager at Allied Stone Inc. is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end installation operations within our stone manufacturing facility. This exempt position requires dynamic organizational skills, effective communication, and collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful execution of installation projects.

  • Lead and coordinate installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate installation schedules considering project timelines and customer preferences. Collaborate with internal teams for accurate scheduling information.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing timely updates, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Review installations daily to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the installation team. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage subcontracted installation crews. Ensure compliance with company standards and quality expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of installation schedules, customer preferences, and project details.
  • Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Provide training and support for the installation team to enhance skills and ensure compliance with industry best practices and safety standards.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):

  • Knowledge:
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with stone manufacturing processes and installation techniques.
  • Customer Service: Understanding of customer needs and ability to deliver exceptional service.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel. Knowledge of CRM software, specifically SPS, or similar tools.
  • Skills:
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving installation goals.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and customer interaction.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage installation schedules and project details.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to analyze installation issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and customer preferences.
  • Team Collaboration: Skill in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Stone manufacturing facility with both office and on-site responsibilities.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Manual dexterity is required to manipulate standard office peripherals.
  • Ability to move around the manufacturing facility and job sites as needed.


TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • Limited travel may be required to visit job sites and attend training opportunities.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel.
  • At least three years of leadership experience, preferably in the stone industry.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, specifically SPS, or similar tools to enhance efficiency in project and customer management.
