Job Summary
FashioNica is seeking a meticulous and organized Fulfillment Specialist to accurately and efficiently process customer orders from start to finish. This includes order picking, packing, shipping, and quality control, as well as supporting with inventory management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As our Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clientele receives exceptional products and experiences. Must be on-site to fulfill duties of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment:
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to company standards and shipping deadlines.
- Ensure all orders are packaged securely and professionally to prevent damage during transit
- Generate and print shipping labels and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Track orders from shipment to delivery and resolve any shipping-related issues.
Inventory Management Support:
- Assist the inventory team with receiving and accurately recording incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's inventory management system.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of the warehouse.
Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all items before shipping to ensure they meet company standards.
- Identify and report any quality issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team.
- Work closely with dedicated customer service representatives to resolve any customer issues, such as holds or cancellations, before shipments are processed.
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping, and delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
Other duties as assigned, including assisting with other operational tasks as needed, such as inventory management, returns processing, and warehouse upkeep.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or fulfillment role, preferably in a luxury or e-commerce environment.
- Prior experience handling high-end luxury goods.
- Prior experience working with single SKU inventory/knowledge, working with Entrupy and Real Authentication are all a plus.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and shipping software, with preference for candidates who are familiar with Shopify.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 30 lbs
- Experience with handling high-value items preferred.
- Prior retail, resale, or product handling experience is required.
- We’re a fast moving team - comfort with ambiguity and working at this pace is required.
- Displays a sense of ownership, is proactive, and takes initiative.
- Ability to work in a production environment, including standing for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, as needed.
