Job Title:

A key member of the Disability Solutions team, we are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Compliance Specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mortgage-related activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $25.09 - $31.00 per hour, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Audit File Review: Conduct thorough audits of loan files to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to disclosure.
  • Loan Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate Loan Estimates, including fees and pricing, for borrower review and e-Signature.
  • Disclosure Tracking: Monitor and track disclosures that require sending, utilizing electronic signature portals or paper fulfillment as necessary.
  • Change of Circumstance Management: Handle Change of Circumstance requests, ensuring re-disclosures and notifications comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain efficient service levels and adhere to regulatory timelines for loan disclosure completion and dissemination.
  • Closing Disclosure Preparation: Prepare accurate Post-Closing Disclosure documents, addressing fee variances and ensuring compliance.
  • Refund Processing: Process refund checks for borrowers following closing.
  • Adverse Action Loans: Manage adverse action loans, preparing Statement of Denial and auditing for ECOA and HMDA compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in mortgage operations.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Encompass loan origination system; thorough knowledge of TRID and RESPA LE/CD requirements.
  • Additional Requirements: Conventional and Government loan experience; strong aptitude for detail, accuracy, and organization; ability to prioritize and multitask; excellent communication skills.
