Commercial Lines Insurance Processor


Job Overview:


Under the direct guidance of the Commercial Lines Manager and by established policies and procedures, the Processor is responsible for aiding a team of Commercial Account Managers, and Customer Service Representatives. Primary responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of pulling company documents, maintaining activities, and providing superior customer service.


Responsibilities:


  • Pull company documents from company websites daily
  • Notices of Cancellation (NOCs)
  • Direct billing questions
  • Simple proof of coverage certificates
  • Renew bonds in Applied Epic
  • Rename bond activities
  • Generate loss runs
  • Renewal of driver list requests
  • Reroute Statement of Values (SOV) requests
  • Reroute mail/documents to Account Manager and Customer Service Representatives
  • Fillable driving school certificates
  • Auto ID Cards
  • Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • High School Diploma
  • Illinois Property & Casualty License desired but not required; will need to obtain the license
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Insurance Property & Casualty Coverages, Carriers & Products
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Applied Epic; will consider other agency management systems
  • Displays a high level of regard for trust and confidentiality
  • Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Displays strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
