Oracle HCM QA Lead (Overland Park, KS - Hybrid)

About the role:

Our client is seeking a QA Lead to provide leadership for the QA & testing activities on their 2-year Oracle HCM implementation project. As the QA Lead, you will partner with client teams and a System Integrator (SI) to ensure a smooth transition to the new HR system.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and participate in all aspects of project testing.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy.
  • Create, maintain, and enforce the Test Plan/Strategy.
  • Review requirements specifications, design documents, and test scripts.
  • Develop and execute test scripts.
  • Review test results and track/manage defects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop UAT test scripts and coordinate execution.
  • Provide training on testing tools and processes (as needed).
  • Manage and report on QA risks, status, and metrics.
  • Lead defect triage meetings and contribute to Go/No-Go decisions.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience leading SIT & UAT testing in an Agile/Hybrid environment.
  • Proven experience with Oracle HCM Fusion functionality (Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, etc.).
  • Experience managing QA activities across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Experience with Data Migration testing, Functional testing, System Integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
  • Experience developing test artifacts (Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, etc.) and test data.
  • Ability to translate business and IT requirements into test cases and scripts.
  • Experience leading testing activities, managing test runs/cycles, and tracking/resolving defects.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing, test execution, and SIT/UAT planning/execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CSTE or ISTQB Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or Computer Science

Additional Information:

  • Must be willing to work onsite in Overland Park, KS 3 days per week (Wednesday is mandatory)
