The Quality Assurance Tester works to develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test cases, test sets, and test plans. They ensure all software development projects are delivered with a high degree of quality, accuracy, and reliability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for development and execution of comprehensive software testing strategies and plans. Responsible for testing of internal and external applications, and their integrations, prior to and after deployment. Testing scope includes application software, user documentation, and support documentation. Testing responsibilities include user story satisfaction, functional requirements, and user experience defects. Design, development, and execute software testing including (but not limited to) unit tests, smoke tests, regression tests, sanity tests, and automated scripts. Proactively communicate with leadership, and provide guidance on functional requirements, product designs, delivery and deployment schedules, or potential problems throughout the software development life cycle process. Work with other quality assurance and technical support team members to gain and share knowledge.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Competencies:

Knowledge of web development processes Knowledge of web development technologies Knowledge of desktop and mobile environments Knowledge with bug tracking tools Knowledge with testing tools relevant to applications Knowledge of Automation Tools Design, develop, and document white-, gray-, and black-box testing processes Design, develop, and document sanity and smoke test processes Design, develop, and document regression testing processes
 

Education and/or Experience:

3 or more years of experience quality assurance testing integrated enterprise applications 3 or more years of experience quality assurance testing enterprise applications

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

CSTFL or above preferred but not required

Computer/Equipment Skills:

Familiar with Mac OSX, Microsoft Windows, iOS, and Android devices

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in hybrid work environment hybrid (working from home and/or from the office).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to
maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
