Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our software through thorough testing procedures. This position will work closely with Business Analysts, Software Developers, and key stakeholders to understand, prepare for, and ensure the highest level of product quality. The ideal candidate will be curious, honest, eager to learn, and unafraid to ask questions. Hands-on experience in manual testing, a strong understanding of QA methodologies, and expertise in SQL are preferred. NeuAnalytics does not offer work sponsorship and requires this person to be local to the Kansas City metro area. 


What You Will Do for Us:

  • Write, review, and edit test cases in support of sprint and release activities in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Identify, analyze, track, and report product defects and defect trends while providing support in defining and testing resolutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and specifications
  • Work with the Scrum team and other organizational departments to facilitate the deployment of updates and address any issues that may arise during the QA process
  • Improve current test frameworks and monitor testing and quality metrics
  • Document testing protocols and processes, and provide recommendations for fixing any defects


What You Will Bring to Us:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Excellent understanding of test planning methodologies and best practices centered around enterprise end-to-end testing and manual testing 
  • Preferred Experience in UAT testing, DB Testing, Regression Testing, Web Testing, and SQL Queries
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification
  • Experience working within an Agile methodology
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field or equivalent work experience
