If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you EFC International is searching for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Chicago area branch.

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will assist the Quality Manager in directing and coordinating our quality program to ensure that our products consistently meet established standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining and improving quality objectives aligned with corporate policies and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, you will:

- Assist in developing and maintaining quality objectives in line with corporate policies.

- Communicate quality philosophy and standards to key personnel.

- Establish and oversee inspection, testing, and evaluation methods.

- Review design documentation for compliance with quality standards.

- Decide on product acceptance based on quality inspections.

- Analyze data from quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with policies.

- Develop innovative solutions to address quality issues.

-- Prepare and report on Quality Assurance performance.

- Direct inspection and testing activities to maintain product quality.

- Stay updated on government and industry quality codes and standards.

- Collaborate with various departments within the organization.

- Implement quality training programs for key personnel.

- Manage customer return material authorizations and dispositions.

- Maintain and report on nonconforming material areas.

- Provide dispositions and necessary documents for nonconforming products.

- Approve freight charges related to quality activities.

- Investigate and respond to customer complaints regarding quality.

- Maintain the quality concern system and update notes in SAP.

- Interpret and write Corrective Action Reports.

- Develop and maintain automotive documentation requirements.

- Maintain documents and records with periodic expiration.

- Lead and complete Layered Process Audits.

- Assist in maintaining the Continuous Improvement Program.

- Manage activities related to the Quality Management System, including audits and ISO certifications.

- Demonstrate behavioral competencies and skills to achieve company goals.


Qualifications:

- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-3 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.

- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001, IMDS, and SAP.

Certificates and Licenses: Certified Internal Auditor preferred.
