Our client, a global leader in media & entertainment is actively looking for a HR Generalist - LOA Specialist to join their team


***This role is an onsite position. Candidates must be commutable to Hollywood, California***


This is an initial 3-month contract on W2 with high probability of conversion to direct-hire after that (no guarantees). Eligible for full benefits.


Responsibilities

  • This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day interactive process related to reasonable accommodation requests and leaves of absence for union and non-union employee.
  • Will serve as a liaison between the employees and key partners (including Health Services, Workers Compensation, Park Management, and third-party leave administrator) to oversee the coordination of leave and reasonable accommodation requests.
  • This position also works to ensure compliance with applicable leave and accommodation laws and maintains employee leave and accommodation files and documentation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • 2+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
  • MUST HAVE - Leave of Absence, FMLA, etc. focus within the last year
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, should have critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to work with all types of demographics in the HR/Leave space
