Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office and break rooms. This includes managing clutter, ensuring cleanliness, and creating a comfortable and inviting workspace.
- Demonstrate initiative and drive to consistently improve the office/environment. This may involve suggesting new ideas for organization, efficiency, and environment aesthetic.
- Coordinate office events. This includes, but is not limited to, activities like bringing in donuts once or twice a month, hosting a seed swap for Earth Day, or arranging for themed parties like an Oscars viewing. While planning assistance will be provided, this role is responsible for executing the setups of these events.
- Handle limited phone duties, managing approximately 3-5 calls per day as needed.
- Escort clients from secure the first floor to the locked second floor, providing a warm welcome and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. It's vital to understand that we do not allow walk-in traffic.
- Take charge of the office mail by receiving, sorting, and scanning mail into the system.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Outgoing and friendly with superb interpersonal skills
- Initiative-driven with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior experience in office administration or event coordination is a plus.
Contract from June 3rd through Mid August.
