Position Summary

This is a Portfolio Management position responsible for evaluating and managing all types of commercial real estate debt through the lending lifecycle on all property types (office, retail, hotel, multifamily, industrial, etc.). Our clients rely on our expertise to advise them as to the best course of action pertaining to key borrower, property and loan decisions including whether to extend, workout, modify or foreclose.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Candidate must be highly competent with Excel and familiar with modeling complex CRE debt scenarios as well as ad hoc analyses.
  • Demonstrate through knowledge of client deals and able to relay information professionally and expertly to lenders (our customers), borrowers and key stakeholders.
  • Work with in-house and 3rd party servicers to handle borrower requests.
  • Review and evaluate loan covenant compliance.
  • Perform on-site property inspections and management interviews across the United States when necessary.
  • Must develop expertise using our proprietary software to deliver customer services.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Experience in commercial real estate finance and related financial modeling and analyses.
  • Highly developed analytical skills including interest in managing complex spreadsheets.
  • Accurate, persuasive writing skills and presentation ability, including in unfamiliar markets.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong time management skills and will thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
  • Personable and able to work in a client-facing environment with the ability to liaise with multiple different 3rd parties
  • Prior work experience with distressed assets is a plus.
