Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager -Mid-South (RSM) has the overall responsibility for managing the wholesale sales activities and channels of sale of American Granby products within the states of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. This role reports directly to the Vice President Sales and Marketing.

 

The RSM will develop and implement initiatives to attain both AGI overall business development and regional strategic goals and objectives. The RSM will focus sales growth efforts through multiple markets and distribution channels.

 

This role involves traveling to target focus areas as required to meet the annual strategic sales plans. Overnight travel expectations of no less than 30%.


Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop specific sales and strategic action plans for the assigned customers and products.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage direct personal contact and effective working relationships at all levels with key decisions and buying influences at assigned accounts.
  • Develop annual product forecast for assigned accounts.
  • Provides regular input to VP Sales Marketing and Sales Operations team on regional economic and competitive conditions.
  • Stay abreast of current and upcoming market conditions, competitive developments, and product requirements.
  • Assists in the resolution of technical and commercial problems with customers.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales forecast.
  • Prepare and submits activity reports and sales plans as required.
  • Stay abreast of current and upcoming market conditions and product requirements.


Specialized Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the technical and feature advantages of AGI products.
  • Possesses knowledge of plumbing, pump & water well, turf, irrigation sales channels and wholesale distribution
  • Possesses knowledge of standard pricing and price models

  • Advanced professional sales and self-management skills.
  • Has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Have good oral and written communication and PC computer skills.
