Accounts Receivable Specialist
6 Month Contract To Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Louisville, KY (Onsite)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding (required)
- Advanced knowledge of denial types and resolution steps
- 1+ Years in a healthcare setting on the physician side
- Must have the ability to get along with others in a close office setting.
- Must be willing to function and cooperate as a member of the team
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Familiar with Epic
- Familiar with Echo and Paceman
Responsibilities:
- Able to complete 60 cases a day with a 90% accuracy
- Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
- Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive data at all times.
- Adheres to organizational and department specific safety standards and guidelines.
- Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community.
