Job Summary

Ensure that all external and internal Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) quality requirements are adhered to and incorporated into all aspects of manufacturing to maintain the quality integrity of products and systems. Assure Quality systems and procedures satisfy government and customer requirements and ensure compliance of products shipped to contractual requirements. This role will encompass all aspects of quality, including audits, data analysis, corrective actions, process improvement/control, product certification, and export control.


Working Procedure

  • Ensure compliance and serve as the main point of contact for customer and internal audits.
  • Drive quality investigations and root cause analysis for NDT issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external specifications.
  • Perform professional Quality Engineering assignments of considerable complexity under limited supervision, such as conducting statistical analysis in the form of capability studies and Design of Experiments (DOE) to evaluate processes.
  • Maintain internal and customer requirements in the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Conduct internal and external audits and supplier surveys to verify capability and compliance.
  • Host customer and third-party audits.
  • Perform other related duties in the department as directed by supervision.


Required Education and Qualifications

  • NDT Level III: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) – immersion
  • NAS 410/ASNT certification
  • Experience in Immersion Ultrasonic methods
  • Knowledge and ability to use internal and commercially available computer systems to obtain and issue information

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to government military contracts.
