Job Overview: We are seeking a versatile and tech-savvy Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our corporate office in Charlotte. This role will be pivotal in managing project administration, accounts payable, and basic treasury functions, while also providing comprehensive support to our executives. The ideal candidate is a proactive "doer" who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to a high-performance team.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Administration & Financial Management:

  • Manage project accounts payable, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and validation.
  • Execute basic treasury functions, such as monitoring cash flow and handling deposits.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for various projects.

Executive & Office Support:

  • Provide administrative support to executives, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Run errands, manage office supplies, assist with general office maintenance, office appearance, filing document upkeep, etc.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations.

General Administrative Duties:

  • Organize and maintain corporate filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Act as a point of contact for IT-related issues and coordinate with IT support as needed.
  • Provide support during company events.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field; experience in commercial real estate is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and disposition.
  • Positive attitude and a team player mindset, willing to go the extra mile to support colleagues and executives.
  • No college degree required, but relevant experience and a commitment to Liberty Atlantic's core values are essential.
