What you plan to do


Perform installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting tasks on network infrastructure, PA systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, intercom, and other PC-based systems.


What you'll do and how

Perform installation and verification tasks, such as commissioning, testing, and installation, on security-related equipment for major facilities.

Read and understand submittals, specifications, diagrams, and schematics.

Complete "As Built" drawings after the project is finished.

Complete reports for customers' review, and work with AHJs and other relevant parties to conduct system acceptance testing.

Keep abreast on new developments in numerous product categories.

Consult with clients to understand security needs and to analyze risk


  • Working knowledge of installation techniques, equipment compatibility, mounting methods, programming, and testing is required.
  • Successful completion of an electronic technician training program or comparable experience High school graduation or its equivalent
  • A valid driver's license
