Role Overview:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. This is a telephone-based sales role based in the clients Austin office, requiring you to be on-site five days a week. You will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential clients, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound calls.
  • Client Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to potential clients, introducing our SAAS solutions and qualifying their interest and needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to engage prospects and drive them through the sales funnel.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead information in our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and effective follow-up.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to set up meetings and provide valuable insights to help close deals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to better understand client needs and refine sales approaches.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key metrics, including call volume, lead conversion rates, and overall performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within a B2B environment or SAAS industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospects and build relationships over the phone.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to understand client needs, overcome objections, and effectively present solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales tools to track and manage leads.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $50,000 per annum.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): Competitive commission structure with significant earning potential based on performance.
