We are seeking a Network Analyst to join our growing team and help with a variety of hardware, software, and networking projects at various Clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Respond to escalated technical support tickets and assist in determining the nature of the technical issues, almost exclusively via remote access.
  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and/or networking issues by conducting tests, analyzing the problem, and provide suggestions for solutions.
  • Program and install new hardware systems, software upgrades or networking cables.
  • Provide technical and/or operational training as needed.
  • Document hardware configuration information, software configuration administration, network performance and network layouts on a regular basis.
  • When necessary, travel to Clients’ offices or server locations for hardware and network malfunctions.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field and/or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Analyst
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
  • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
  • Knowledge of IPSec Tunnels
  • Knowledge of OSFP
  • Understanding of Routing
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
  • A self-starter able to work independently, but comfortable working in a team environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • LAN, WAN, and WLAN experience
  • Network security experience a plus
