The role


As a Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in our efforts to implement and optimize control systems for our cutting-edge renewable energy projects.


Your key responsibilities


  • Programming and Deployment of PPCs (power plant controllers) for efficient and reliable energy conversion, energy management and utility control testing.
  • Work with our engineering team to integrate control and automation solutions into renewable energy systems for optimal performance, grid integration and utility interconnection.
  • Conduct Client and Utility commissioning tests and work closely with Client to ensure seamless interconnection and compliance with their grid code requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose control system problems, providing timely solutions to ensure uninterrupted operation and optimized performance.
  • Ensure compliance with sector-specific regulations and other relevant codes for our renewable energy projects.


Your skills and experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in controls engineering, working as POC with clients, with a focus on renewable energy systems.
  • Experience programming PLC’s, IEC 61131, ideally in Codesys standard, other environments is a super plus.
  • Strong proficiency in communication protocols: Modbus, 104 and/or DNP
  • Excellent problem-solving
  • experience and proficiency in PPC (Power Plant Controller) systems relevant to renewable energy applications.
  • Previous experience in commissioning and in ICT (Network electronics) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of grid integration challenges and solutions for renewable energy projects, including utility interconnection and utility control testing. It would be great if you could also be able to interpret SLD, protections, etc.
