Interoperability Program Manager:

  • Looking for strong Program Manager to oversee a large multi-year, multi-phase project related to CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule CMS-0057-F
  • The program with be in Agile. They will be responsible for stakeholder meetings, status reports, executive decks, collaborating with both Enterprise Technology and Business teams, using Jira and Confluence, managing financials, and integrating with a vendor partner using a cloud-based system.
  • If they have healthcare experience and CMS exposure, that would be ideal, but a strong candidate could be coming from govt, tech, finance, etc.
  • Experience with technology operations process and terminology for methodologies supporting business and technology collaboration, intake documentation, and/or handoffs; experience with project scoping, requirements, and user stories preferred.
  • A perfect candidate would have experience with government mandates. This person will be reviewing the mandates, meeting with the relevant business areas, helping with the assessment of what will be changing in the workflows and impacts to the business area with detailed requirements, working with multiple vendors, manages resources in a cross-functional matrixed environment. Is responsible for executive level reporting and communication working with onshore & offshore teams, reporting, managing financials, and giving updates to VP / C-level individuals.
  • There will be a variety of mandates throughout the next few years, but the goal is for this person to eventually be running the entire program, so they should have experience running larger and more complex programs.
  • Soft skills are extremely important. This person should be a confident, strong communicator and presenter, experienced with high-level stakeholders and an executive presence.
  • This person does not need to personally be very technical, but they will be dealing with APIs and EDI transactions and working with technical teams, so someone with an understanding would be beneficial. Expert skills in development of user stories, Jira, and Confluence management. Proficiency for project management skills, Agile processes, quick learning capability, self-starter, and good communicator. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes, systems, etc. Healthcare experience with strong coaching, collaboration, enablement and listening skills.
