Are you looking for a great organization to grow (or start) your tech sales career? Our client makes a suite of B2B software products used by over 10,000 government teams in the US and Canada. Your role as a Sales Development Representative is to introduce employees in these government departments to the products (B2B SaaS) and schedule appointments for Account Executives. Their team is growing


Your day is busy. Filled with outreach via phone and email. You need a positive attitude, grit, and an energetic phone voice to drive the top of the funnel pipeline.

This role sits in Dallas. Candidates with demonstrated success meeting a quota in a B2B business development rep or sales development rep role may be considered for a remote role if they have previous remote work experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Targeted outbound cold calling to government agencies to drive opportunities for the Account Executive team
  • Manage a pipeline of target prospects and learn to analyze and diagnose KPIs to drive performance efficiency
  • Consistently achieve monthly qualified meeting quota. They’ll teach you how to do it, but it requires consistent effort and resilience (not everyone is friendly when you catch them on a busy day).

What’s a day like as an SDR with the Team?

  • Each day you will make 50 outbound calls and 20 emails to target prospects for the products your team is focused on and book meetings for Account Executives
  • Our client distributes the best accounts for you to target so you don’t have to waste time hunting and searching for places to call
  • Tons of opportunities to collaborate with your peers in morning huddles, call reviews, and team syncs
  • 1:1 weekly syncs with your manager and individual coaching sessions

The ideal candidate is an individual looking for a rapid growth path through our SDR ranks from SDR I to SDR III in 12-18 months, while they learn our industry and business and earn a promotion to an Account Executive, Account Manager or Sales Engineer role.


On Target Earnings of $70,000 annually ($45,000 base and $25,000 commissions) plus a generous benefits package which includes comprehensive health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, Flexible Time Off, 401(k) plan, and more


Experienced SDR or BDR candidates may be considered with a fully remote vs a hybrid schedule if they have previously worked remotely. This position cannot be held if you live in the following states: AK, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, IL, MA, MD, ME, MT, NH, NY, PA, or WA.
