Cytodiagnostics Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our growing team in Tulsa, OK. Requires use of independent judgement; perform under general directions and work as an integral part of our immunoassay development team in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and data collection.
- Assist in designing research studies and experiments.
- Develop and optimize methods and protocols for detection of various antigens in ELISA and other immunoassays
- Maintain high quality standards during experimental processes and record keeping
- Collaborate with the research team on project planning and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with research protocols and ethics.
- Autonomously design and perform experiments
- Assist with labeling, packaging, and shipping of products.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in cell biology, biochemistry, or biomedical sciences with a minimum of 2+ years of experience.
Previous hands-on experience with ELISA and/or Lateral Flow Assays is a requirement.
Desired and Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with ELISA or Lateral Flow Assay design and development
- Experience with statistical analysis of data is desired
- Self-motivated and independent with the ability to drive projects forward
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in writing/reviewing SOPs, study reports
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Industry experience, and working in an ISO environment is an asset
- Having the confidence and ability to identify and communicate new potential opportunities is an asset
