The Laureate Institute for Brain Research is seeking a meticulous and organized Research Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) study, working under the guidance of a Principal Investigator (PI). This position is crucial in ensuring the integrity and reliability of data collection by leading a team of research assistants.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Manage research operations within the ABCD Team, ensuring compliance with established protocols, relevant regulations, and effective project management throughout all phases of the research study, including feasibility assessments, participant engagement, follow-up, and project closure, all under the close supervision of the PI.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with both internal and external ABCD researchers and leadership groups.
- Support study administration tasks, which include preparing annual reports, updating study protocols, organizing Community Advisory Board meetings, and submitting documentation to the institutional review board.
- Promote and sustain a performance-driven culture within the team that adheres to high standards of excellence.
- Assist in the organization of professional development and training opportunities for the research team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related health field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A clinical license in a relevant specialty is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Extensive experience in managing a research or clinical team is strongly preferred.
- Experience with clinical trials, institutional review board (IRB) processes, and/or grant management is preferred.
