Reports To: Marketing Director

Location: Oakland, CA


The Print Production Lead is an essential part of the Jetty marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Print Production Lead will play a vital role in packaging design, print production, and label quality control. They will also maintain digital assets ensuring our retail partners have all the product information and imagery they need. The Print Production Lead should have strong communication and project management skills, taking ownership of the varying needs of the print room to ensure consistent, compliant execution of packaging and print materials across all markets. They should have a strong knowledge of design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. And most importantly, a positive, can-do attitude.


Responsibilities

  • Manage label creation and in-house printing, leading print end-to-end execution.
  • Own quality control for print production, including verifying label accuracy and print quality.
  • Review packaging to ensure compliance with state regulations, acting as the final sign-off on all packaging for 4 markets: California, Colorado, New Jersey, and New York.
  • Responsible for creating and organizing all digital assets including label templates, print files, menus, sales sheets, and product photos.
  • Organize and execute on print priorities for all four markets, leveraging in-house resources as well as 3rd parties to ensure all labels are delivered on time and to spec.
  • Track label inventory, packaging shipments, and communicate with cross-functional teams on the status of various projects.
  • Manage one direct report, Print Production Assistant, ensuring the quality of their work and continued development.
  • Manage 3rd party suppliers, including evaluating new partners and managing existing label and print vendors.
  • Additional admin tasks as assigned.
