The Lync is recruiting for a local medical practice is seeking to fill the role of Patient Care Coordinator (PCC). PCC's daily responsibilities include insurance and benefit verification, answering of multi-line phone system, scheduling, and assisting the medical provider in other miscellaneous administrative tasks. This is a full-time position M-Th 8:45 - 5, F 8:45 - 3.


Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Creating patient invoices
  • Processing payments
  • Completion of patient paperwork
  • Maintaining supply and inventory data
  • Data entry
  • Faxing and maintaining of patient records
  • Check-in of newly received shipments
  • Shipment drop-offs for UPS and FedEx
  • Completing and documenting welcome and follow-up calls
  • Report generation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the facility


Requirements:

Training on specific tasks and responsibilities is provided. Although a doctor's office, this is a predominantly administrative role and traditional clinical skillsets within the medical field are not required (taking of vitals, etc.). Strong preference for applicants with customer service and managerial experience in any previous employment field. Applicant must pass background check and drug screen.
