This be a hands on manager role, and will have high visibility, working closely with the Executive team.


Job Responsibilities:

  • General ledger accounting oversight: including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cost accounting.
  • Prepare and manage the Work In Progress schedule (WIP).
  • Supervise bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Manage cash flow preparation and forecasting.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review job cost reports.
  • Maintain the fixed asset schedule.
  • Assist in sales and use tax filings.
  • Provide oversight of accounts receivable and monthly billing processes.
  • Manage the credit card program and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate ERP sync with Procore.
  • Handle general ledger accounting functions.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce financial controls and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, consultants, and firms.
  • Work closely with project managers and senior management.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team.


Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including proficiency in month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Previous management experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards.
  • Industry experience required, Construction / General Contractor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Sage 100 Contractor, Procore, and Bill.com is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
