Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform maintenance following technical data, manuals, and regulatory directives.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Work all shifts as needed.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations (Title 14 parts 43 and 91).


Requirements:


Education:


  • Airframe and Powerplant license required.
  • Must obtain Inspection Authorization within three months of hire.


Experience:


  • Minimum of three recent consecutive years of GA experience as a certificated A&P.
  • Experience with Piper aircraft preferred.
  • G1000 experience is a plus.


Skills & Abilities:


  • Independent work capability with airworthiness decision-making.
  • Manage workflow and adjust priorities.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on aircraft.
  • Make aircraft logbook entries and release aircraft for return to service.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to learn maintenance management software.


Equipment/Machinery:


  • Use general office equipment (fax, copier, PC).
  • Operate company vehicles and shop equipment.
  • Exposure to solvents and aviation gasoline.


Physical & Safety Requirements:


  • Work in various environments inside and outside the facility.
  • Exposure to aircraft, simulators, and equipment.
  • Medium lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, and stooping.


Other Qualities:


  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with proactive productivity.
  • Flexible/adaptable to a fast-changing pace and flight school priorities.
