Key Responsibilities:

  • NetSuite Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of custom NetSuite scripts, workflows, Suitelets, RESTlets, and other SuiteCloud technologies.
  • Customization & Configuration: Customize NetSuite modules to align with business requirements, including advanced scripting and data management.
  • Integration: Integrate NetSuite with third-party systems using RESTful and SOAP-based APIs. Develop and maintain middleware solutions as required.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced-level support to internal users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any system-related problems.
  • System Enhancements: Identify opportunities to improve the NetSuite platform, recommend enhancements, and lead implementation efforts.
  • Data Management: Manage data migrations, system data imports/exports, and data validation processes.
  • Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Sales) to understand business needs and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Best Practices: Follow NetSuite development best practices and ensure compliance with IT and security standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture designs, user guides, and training materials.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and technical staff on best practices and advanced NetSuite concepts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in NetSuite development, including customization, integration, and configuration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of SuiteScript 1.0, 2.0, and JavaScript.
    • Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.
    • Hands-on experience with integration tools and techniques (REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, JSON).
    • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Certifications: NetSuite Developer or Administrator certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and experience leading NetSuite projects.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team Player: Proven experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional ERP modules (CRM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) and eCommerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, PHP, or C#.
  • Understanding of business processes in areas like finance, procurement, inventory, and sales.
  • Prior experience in working with international teams or a global implementation.
