Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Technology to lead and oversee all Technology activities within the organization, inclusive of both back and front office technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Salesforce and ERP Management, including expertise with Salesforce Cloud and Field Service products, Paradigm ERP, and NetSuite Finance Suite. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Vice President of Technology will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of technology initiatives, ensuring the alignment of IT with business goals, and driving innovation to support our continued growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
o Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
o Lead the IT department, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the team enabling career growth.
o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
o Cross-functional leader unifying non-IT business functions with technology strategy.
Technical Oversight:
o Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of including, but not limited to: Salesforce, Paradigm ERP, NetSuite, and other third-party tools and plug ins.
o Ensure the availability, reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems.
o Direct and ensure Cybersecurity measures are appropriate, well managed and results reported in a timely manner
o Drive the adoption of recognized best practices in software development, system integration, and IT operations.
Project Management:
o Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, with quality, within scope and budget.
o Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of technology solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to align IT initiatives with financial and business goals.
o Collaboration and communication with the Board of Directors
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing transparency and clarity on IT projects and performance.
Risk Management:
o Identify and mitigate business risks associated with IT operations and projects.
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Vice President or in a similar senior IT leadership role with meaningful scope.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce Field Service.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with Paradigm and NetSuite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Action-oriented style that approaches problem solving in a collaborative manner
- Entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working within a nimble organizational culture
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, software development, and system integration.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- A Master's degree is preferred.
