The Senior Manager, Communications, is responsible for developing and executing a strategic internal communication plan that aligns with the organization’s overall business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management. The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership and the C-suite and ensure effective messaging and engagement throughout the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Build out and execute a comprehensive internal corporate communication strategy that supports business goals and enhances employee engagement
  • Leadership Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and the C-suite to align communication strategies with organizational priorities and initiatives
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Channel Management: Develop and manage internal communication channels, including the intranet, employee newsletters, digital platforms, and town hall meetings
  • Content Creation: Create and deliver engaging content in various formats, including written, visual, and multimedia, to resonate with diverse employee audiences
  • Data Analysis: Analyze human capital data and provide insights and trends that inform internal communication strategies and decision-making
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication programs, using data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Crisis Management: Identify potential internal communication crises and develop effective response plans to mitigate impact
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay current on internal communication trends and best practices, applying relevant innovations to enhance the communication strategy
  • M&A/Sales Communication: Develop communication strategies to support M&A and sales projects/pitches
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of corporate communication experience, preferably 7 years in corporate communications strategy.
  • Strong understanding of organizational culture and change management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to analyze human capital data and identify trends.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and the C-suite.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in crisis communication.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement survey methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
