We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Human Resources Manager. This individual will be responsible for supporting HR functions, from recruitment to retention, in a fast-paced, growing environment. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, HRIS and compliance, to foster a positive, productive and safe work environment. This role requires a proactive professional who excels in streamlining HR operations while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. We're searching for a team member who is excited to build something meaningful and share it with our valued customers


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for exempt positions including job postings, candidate sourcing and interviewing focusing on attracting top talent. 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, partnerships, and technology platforms.

Payroll:

  • Manage payroll changes and prepare weekly payroll for processing.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, collaborating with finance as needed.
  • Implement improvements to payroll systems and processes for greater efficiency.

HRIS Administration:

  • Manage the maintenance, accuracy, and optimization of the UKG Ready HRIS to ensure seamless operations. 
  • Process data changes and project manage implementation of new modules. Provide training and support to staff on HRIS functionalities. 
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain the confidentiality of employee information.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics (e.g. turnover, absenteeism, time to fill) to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer and communicate employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.to ensure employee understanding and improve utilization. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
  • Partner with benefits broker to ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations. 
  • Lead annual open enrollment processes, including communication and education efforts.

Other:

  • Coach and support managers in addressing performance issues, setting objectives and developing action plans to help employees meet their potential.  
  • Manage and improve employee onboarding experience and orientation program in conjunction with the Training Manager.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with all relevant labor laws, OSHA standards and industry regulations, maintaining high standards of safety and fairness.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7+ years progressive experience in human resources.  
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in human resources management, business administration or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency with UKG Ready HRIS required.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits regulations, and payroll compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment. 
  • Professional designation in human resources (HRCI / SHRM).
  • Experience with implementing or upgrading HRIS or payroll systems.
  • Background in creating and analyzing HR-related reports and metrics.
  • Spanish proficiency a plus.
