Job Summary:

Our client, a leading Automotive Service Retailer, is seeking an experienced and professional Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts receivable and a passion for delivering excellent financial service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and bring a strong understanding of the entire accounts receivable process.


Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Excellent ability to plan and prioritize work
  • Previous experience working in a retail-based company


Key Responsibilities:

  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Organize and file deposit receipts as invoices are paid
  • Perform daily reconciliation of deposits to cash postings
  • Prepare reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Examine customer payment plans, payment history, and credit lines to resolve collections
  • Perform account reconciliations and generate age analysis
  • Investigate and resolve customer and store queries
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or in person
  • Process adjustments as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
