Aquent is looking for a Technical Writer to work on support content as part of a large team of writers and editors supporting our client's support organization.


Responsibilities include:

• Develop hyper-focused troubleshooting content, focusing on improving the customer experience.

• Create content that takes complex problems and simplifies the steps for customers to get to resolution quickly.

• Collaborate with PM to ensure technical accuracy.

• Work in a very template-driven format.

• Work with engineering teams to draw out technical information and turn it into customer ready content.

• Author the documentation that will be published to customers.

• Respond to reviewer feedback and incorporate feedback as needed.

• Deliver documentation according to specifications and priorities provided by content team.

• Use content team templates, tools, process, and publishing guidelines to deliver high quality documentation.


Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of technical writing experience and/or experience creating technical, customer facing content (IT pro or end user).

• Experience working in markdown and GitHub.

• Self-starter who works well independently and with others.

• Exceptional written and verbal English skills.

• Degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Communications, or equivalent experience or equivalent work experience.
