DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the business with month, quarter and year end closing activities
  • Execute standard and non-standard journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations in accordance with group internal control policy
  • Assist with Accounts Payable for accurate coding of invoices and processing
  • Maintains the general ledger and chart of accounts
  • Assist with fixed asset management
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed


QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
