ConnectPay is hiring a Payroll Specialist to work closely with our clients - small businesses. This position services our client’s payroll and data management needs, resolves payroll discrepancies, offers payroll tax information, all while maintaining client and employee confidentiality.
Note that this is a full-time on-site position based in Forest Hill, MD office with work hours of Monday-Friday at about 8:30am-5pm (including 30 minute unpaid lunch break). Prior customer service experience is helpful, and full training will be provided. This is a benefits eligible position with an hourly pay rate starting at $19-$20/hr.
Responsibilities:
Review and process payroll across multiple states.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail, accurately complete tasks under deadline.
Update and maintain CRM system.
Initiate ongoing client enrollment, education, and onboarding.
Effectively handle in-bound calls in a timely and friendly manner.
Maintain confidentiality and acting with integrity while handling sensitive information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability and desire to learn and work with various web-based applications that are used to process client’s payroll and employees’ time entry.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with desire to interact with colleagues and customers on daily basis.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
Data entry skills with strong attention to detail
