Sales Development Representative Internship

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development within a fast-paced and supportive environment. The Sales Development Representative Intern will work closely with our sales team to identify and qualify leads, conduct market research, and contribute to various sales initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads and qualify potential customers through phone calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to expand our customer base and meet sales targets.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and other materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and sales activities using our CRM system.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and networking events to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for sales and business development.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Google Workspace.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
