NEON is looking for an exceptional and imaginative candidate to spearhead our digital film distribution marketing initiatives. In the role of Vice President of Digital Film Distribution, you will have the exciting opportunity to craft and implement cutting-edge digital strategies that will not only amplify the audience base, but also drive substantial revenue growth for our wide range of independent and genre films.

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Campaign Development & Execution:
    • Collaborate with the Creative Marketing team to craft compelling marketing materials for each film across initial and subsequent release windows and formats (VOD, EST, SVOD, DVD, etc.)
    • Partner with Marketing and filmmakers to produce engaging ancillary content, including bonus features and extras, for all titles
    • Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure timely delivery and execution of marketing initiatives
    • Build data-driven digital marketing campaigns that leverage current marketplace trends and competitive strategies
    • Partner with Marketing, Publicity, and Theatrical teams to establish a comprehensive communications calendar, encompassing social media, press releases, and other channels
  • Strategy & Distribution:
    • Develop and manage the overall digital marketing strategy for film releases across all windows and platforms (VOD, EST, SVOD, DVD, etc.)
    • Collaborate with leadership to establish revenue targets for all titles across all windows
    • Work with the Marketing team to integrate Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) strategies for merchandising and communication
    • Continuously monitor market and audience trends to inform long-term digital distribution and windowing strategies

Requirements

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 5-7 years of experience in film marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Business/Marketing degree or MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns for film releases
  • Strong understanding of the digital film distribution landscape and consumer behavior
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Experience working with data analytics to inform marketing strategies
  • Passion for independent and genre films, with a strong understanding of their unique marketing needs

Compensation:

This position has a target annual pay range of $125,000 and $140,000. Compensation for prospective employees within the range listed will be determined by various factors. These include, but are not limited to, the candidate's experience and qualifications, the level of specialization required for the role, budget considerations, and local market conditions in the employee's location.
