Job Description

The role requires a seasoned project manager with over 10 years of experience, particularly in managing large insurance claims projects exceeding $5M. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical delivery skills, be adept at managing both internal and external teams, and excel in communication with business stakeholders and executive management. Proficiency in project management systems, budgeting, and both agile and waterfall methodologies is essential.


Required Criteria:

  • 10 + Years experience in a project management role.
  • Insurance Claims Projects experience is a must have.
  • Experience running large projects - $5M +.
  • Experience managing external vendor partners.
  • Strong technical delivery skills – The ideal candidate will need to be able to understand what is technically being delivered and how it fits into the existing technical architecture to effectively manage this project. This person will also have to drive the internal technical delivery team in coordination with external vendor delivery.
  • Strong Communication Skills – The ideal candidate will deal directly with our internal business customers and will also at times have to present up to C level GT management. Strong verbal, written, presentation skills, and executive presence will be required.
  • Strong forecasting and budgeting skills.
  • Familiar with project management systems such as Planview.
  • Strong planning skills and project plan creation skills
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies. Project is delivering mainly waterfall but there are some agile components.


Must Have:

  • Good executive presence and able to manage a high profile project and demonstrate confidence
  • Experience w/ SaaS and Cloud Technology is a plus so they can talk with and understand the Cloud teams
  • Seasoned PM who can work with the delivery teams day to day and communicate confidently at sr. levels
  • P&C Insurance Technology projects


Nice to Have Criteria:

  • Someone who has already been on the account and understands our processes and procedures would be a huge plus but not required.
