Role Overview: The Assistant Portfolio Manager Trainee offers a unique opportunity to develop a career in portfolio management. Under the guidance of the Investment Manager, trainees will learn to structure, analyze, interpret, and manage investment portfolios. The position entails training in investment securities, market analysis and the use of financial software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and Development: Engage in a rigorous training program focusing on portfolio management, asset allocation, and risk management.
- Portfolio Management: Assist senior portfolio managers in monitoring and managing client portfolios, ensuring alignment with clients’ investment goals and risk tolerance.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to support investment decision-making.
- Client Reporting: Prepare and present reports on portfolio performance, market conditions, and investment strategies to clients and senior managers.
- Compliance: Adhere to firm regulations and company policies, ensuring ethical practices and accurate reporting.
