Job Overview: The Account Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with clients, driving revenue through sales, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The role involves a balance of maintaining ongoing relationships with current clients and identifying new sales opportunities. You will also be responsible for coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products, including updating and tracking shipping information.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and issues.
  • Regularly meet with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  1. Sales Strategy & Growth:
  • Develop and execute account plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and upsell additional products or services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate new leads and close new accounts.
  1. Client Communication:
  • Present proposals, product offerings, and value propositions to clients.
  • Provide clients with accurate and timely information regarding product availability, pricing, and timelines.
  • Handle client escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  1. Shipping and Order Coordination:
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely shipment of orders.
  • Update clients on the status of their orders, including expected shipping and delivery dates.
  • Input and update shipping information in the company’s CRM or order management systems.
  • Track orders to ensure accurate delivery and resolve any shipping-related issues or delays.
  1. Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report on account activity.
  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and risks.
  • Use customer feedback to suggest product improvements and innovations.
  1. Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance, etc.) to provide the best service to clients.
  • Ensure seamless handoff between the sales team and other departments, such as operations and customer support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, particularly in handling shipping and logistics updates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
