Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Exciting opportunity for an experienced legal assistant, paralegal, or an executive assistant with a legal background to join our client's growing team in Palm Beach County. To be successful in this position you must be detail oriented, possess strong follow up and organizational skills, and demonstrated legal experience preferably related to Personal Injury and Litigation. Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple attorney's busy calendars, scheduling, discovery, travel coordination, etc
  • Prepare exhibits for trial, redaction of medical records & bills, witness lists, summonses, initial interrogations, request to produce, damages summary
  • Prepare and update medical chronology for disposition, mediation, and trial
  • Attend trial with attorney as needed
  • Assist with special projects as needed such as preparing Excel spreadsheets, transfer files from data room, indexing and organizing documents, filing, scanning, processing subpoenas, etc

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a legal office assisting multiple attorneys
  • Personal Injury or Litigation preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, team player.
  • Excellent Computer Skills, MS Office, Word, Outlook, Excel, Etc
  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
