THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our Client, with a rich history of over 100+ years in the global food trade, is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Marketing and Promotional Specialist (bilingual in English and Spanish required) to support the VP of Retail Sales, in addition to working with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism, efficiency, and confidentiality.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with the Purchasing department to optimize inventory levels and forecasting accuracy.
  • Develop sales presentations that effectively communicate budget performance to brokers.
  • Utilize AC Nielsen data to create insightful retail category analysis presentations.
  • Perform comprehensive market viability studies, including competitive analysis and supplier evaluations.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials for brokers and food expos.
  • Manage social media platforms and online marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee promotional schedules, inventory status, and executive-level claim approvals.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with brokers to deliver retail programs and merchandising support.
  • Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Sales to represent our brand consistently to customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, providing timely product information and resolving issues.
  • Support the VP of Retail Sales with strategic tasks and decision-making.
  • Analyze and manage weekly inventory forecasts for optimal replenishment.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerical proficiency and adept at using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel, including experience with dashboards and pivot tables.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and oral.
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in the food industry preferred.
