Role Overview:


As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling international freight forwarding services, including air and ocean freight, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international logistics sales, a deep understanding of global trade, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities focused on international freight forwarding services, including air, ocean, and customs brokerage.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across diverse industries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized logistics solutions that meet client needs.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and onboarding new clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring satisfaction with services and identifying opportunities for additional business.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, regularly reporting on sales activities and forecasts to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build brand awareness and grow the business.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales within the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with a focus on international services (air, ocean, and customs brokerage).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of global logistics, trade regulations, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Experience in the St. Louis market and a strong local network is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
