Key Duties
- Service to the Product ManagerEnsures that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the team to encourage the delivery of high-quality, high value products
- Coaches on the techniques for effective product backlog management
- Helps the team understand the need for clear and concise product backlog items.
- Ensures the Product Manager knows how to arrange the product backlog to maximize value.
- Utilizes feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity helping the team to develop quicker service delivery and continuously improve by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity.
- Contributes to the development of release plans with data and insight.
- Helps the Product Manager understand value-based prioritization in an Agile environment.
- Service to the TeamFacilitates Agile events, coaching the team to on self-organization and working cross-functionally.
- Helps the team to make measurable, continuous improvements by using metrics.
- Establishes and maintains planning and tracking artifacts and tools.
- Helps the team to reliably deliver high-quality, high-value products.
- Removes impediments to the team’s progress, including working with peers to resolve cross-team impediments.
- Measures and diagnoses team performance and provides transparency to team process and progress.
- Help the team Understand value-based prioritization in an Agile environment.
- Service to the OrganizationPartners with management (including engineering, design and product) to identify opportunities to build high performing teams to plan, build and deliver process.
- Establishes and maintains team metrics which provide a comprehensive view of team health.
- Leads and coaches the team in its Scrum adoption.
- Works with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.

- Job-Specific Skills & EducationRequired
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 2 years of additional experience as described above can be in lieu of this Bachelor’s degree requirement.
- A minimum of 3 years of technology industry and customer-centric applications experience
- A minimum of one year as a Scrum Master.Comprehensive understanding of Scrum
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse personality types.
- Ability to understand technical issues at a high level.
- Strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills
- Ability to lead and coach the team to reach their highest potential.
- Collaborative approach to driving decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Preferred
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
