Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Marketing Analyst will play a critical role in shaping our digital marketing strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, and ensuring a high return on investment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of digital marketing analytics and a proven history of managing substantial advertising budgets. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing and interpreting complex data, translating insights into actionable strategies, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, with a preference for candidates based in Michigan. Job Responsibilities: 


  • Develop and implement comprehensive measurement strategies for digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on maximizing the effectiveness of organic search, paid search via Google Ads, email marketing via HubSpot, organic social, paid social, and more.
  • Analyze and interpret marketing data to provide actionable insights that drive business intelligence and improve campaign performance. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports. Must be able to track CPA, CAC, ROAS, and more.
  • Create and maintain detailed marketing dashboards and reports using HubSpot and Google Looker Studio, providing real-time insights into campaign performance and ROI. Present findings to team members in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing strategies with overall business goals. Display positive team spirit by fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Comfortable working with financial data to determine marketing attribution and provide cash flow forecasting based on sales pipeline, percentage conversion between deal stages, and performance projections from paid search and paid social.
  • Develop and present data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing strategies, enhance customer engagement, and increase conversions. Emphasize continuous improvement and embrace a growth mindset by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee and manage large Google Ads budgets and manage external agency relationship to maximize conversions from ad spend, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Take pride in everything you do by meticulously tracking and reporting on budget expenditures.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and best practices. Maintain a focus on ethical marketing practices that have respect for all, including customers, employees, and partners.

 

Attributes & Skills


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Minimum of 10 years in marketing analytics, with significant experience in digital marketing. Proven success in managing large-scale Google Ads campaigns and budgets ($50k+ monthly).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Looker. Google Analytics and Google Ads certification are required.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot for marketing automation and Asana for project management. HubSpot Marketing Professional certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to display positive team spirit and work effectively in a remote team environment.

  • A collaborative team player who can display positive team spirit and work cohesively with colleagues from various departments.
